BC Garn LOCH LOMOND
BC Garn LOCH LOMOND
The Danish-born yarn company BC Garn is the brand with most GOTS certified yarns in the whole industry. As of today already 12 yarns are fully certified and more to come. BC Garn has been in the market since 1996, their focus has always been the development of natural fibre yarns in a wide shade palette. For some years now, some of their yarns are even GOTS certified. Almost all of the yarns are produced in Europe, except Soft Silk comes from the typical silk country India and the Babyalpaca is produced in the country of alpacas, Peru.
A typical British Tweed looking Yarn. Loch Lomond is woolen spun, that means it has a nice volume and at the same time a good long yardage. This results in very light garments. The rustique look with the typical tweed nups inspires you for warm cardigans, real men's sweaters but also for very warm shawls. And last but not least: It is GOTS certified, that means from sheep to dye stuff, from production to stock keeping and packing, each step is inspected carefully and in line with very strict organic and social standards. The raw wool for Loch Lomond comes from mulesing-free farms in South America. It is spun and dyed in Turkey.

For machine wash, we recommend you to wash your wool garments separately in order to avoid felting. Put the wool garment on a gentle wool cycle; followed by a rinse cycle to remove excess water, if necessary.
Dry Flat and never hand on a washing line.
